Looking forward to starting off this season's 1,000 yard F Class tomorrow at Bodines, PA. Have been doing this for 5 years now, and it never gets old. Last year, on the 100th anniversary of the .30-06, I shot my .30-06 tactical rifle and did quite well, until they reduced the X ring size.:uhoh: This year, it's back to my F Class rifle in 6.5x55. It's supposed to be nice weather-wise, but let's hope the winds are calm and predictable.

DogBonz,

No way to tell really, since the targets are scored and marked after every shot. From watching the spotting disk, most of the points down were lost due to changing wind. I had 2 or 3 shots with points down due to elevation. It was hard to tell where 10's missed the X-ring due to chunky mirage and low scope power (12x).
