10mm Brass Shortage?

Just looked up the speed… Way to low for 10mm

1160FPS Should I tear them apart? I was hoping for 1300+

Actually, that's not too bad. Only in the recent past has most factory 10mm moved beyond .40 S&W +P (if that) performance. I was shooting some 180 gr JHP 10mm PPU in my 1006 a decade ago and not getting any slide lock on an empty mag. The chrono indicated just over 900 fps average. It cycled the gun- barely. That's about the only time I have been disappointed in PPU ammo.

Nowadays, we have broader selection of factory that at least pays homage to the original 200 gr at 1200 fps loading. Even Hornady has supposedly upped the velocity on their "Custom" line to meet this renewed performance expectation.

10 mm auto switched from out of stock to backordered at starline. Price is very fair. Can’t promise, but I have allways received delivery of back orders from them within 3 to 10 days.

My 357sig brass took 6 mo to get from Starline. I was in no hurry so I just waited them out. When I talked to the CS person, she said they were starting to get caught up.
