This past weekend my brother and I installed a pretravel adjustment on a Volquartsen trigger installed in his 22/45. The video we produced, "A 15 Minute Trigger Job on a MKII" provides detailed instructions on the installation of the pretravel adjustment and a look at the problems that may be encountered and how to remedy them.

Yes, we encountered a few problems. However, we were able to resurrect his MKII and all is well. The pretravel of the trigger is now almost undetectable.

The running time on our "15 minute trigger job" video is 8 hours and 22 minutes long. :)

PS the install on mine, done a coupla months ago, went fine. :)

I feel your pain

I did the adjustment on the trigger overtravel on my Mk II which requires removing and installing the trigger each adjustment. I thought I had figured out a way to get it in and out without having all the parts fall out... next thing you know, there are about 30 parts on my bench and I am searching for the infamous "tiny spring".
