17HMR Popped Water Jugs @ 300 YDS

Finally got around to shooting at 300 again. Also got a developed chart out to 400 yards but man at that distance it's UGLY! The range I was at only had 100 yard increments. So gonna head back out to my place (on a windless day) and test 300 and up to see where bullet really fails at grouping.

Anyway here's both CCI 20gr SP and Hornady 17gr VMax popping a gallon water jug at 300 yards.

Not bad. Seemed like the second jug was a bit elusive.

I'd be curious to see how the 17 WSM matched up to this.
