Got a coupon book in the mail the other day from Cabelas....1858 Remmy's on sale for $179 (Pietta). $50 off. Wife says no go:fire:

Thought I'd post it here in case anyone is interested.

Or ....(deleted by moderator)...

Sure, might cost ya, but they'll work hard for that green card/citizenship before they leave ya, will go out of their way to keep ya smilin, and when they run off, you just get online and get another!:D

I got the Remington 1858 44 for $218. Its the one that's case hardened and has checkered grips. Looks much better than the plain one. It is listed online at that price and Cabela's will honor that price at the store. Just take in a copy of the sale price.
And remember it's always easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission!!! And you get to keep the gun!

When I found a gun that I wanted I bought it. My wife asked "What's that". I said its my Fathers day present so make sure that whatever you want for Mothers day is in the $250. range. She had no problem with that.

I get their catalogs regularly....but no coupon books.....must not buy enough to rate, dang.

so is there a coupon code some one can share like SG or am I asking too much

COD,

What I did was just call the nearest store, and ask if they have any in stock, I was pretty sure they did not, and I had them order it over the phone and they shipped it directly to me, just opened the box 10 min ago in fact.

Just tell them you have a coupon and you would like the sale price.
they will honor it. Instead of sales tax, I live in a diff state, I paid shipping, not much diff in price.

good luck

Dave

The coupon doesn't have a code, unfortunately. Otherwise I'd be more than happy to share it with you. Might try Kal52's approach.

post a copy of it and he can print and take it in. it is an advertised price.:D

Hmm, i told my wife I want a 57" long Pennsylvania flintlock for above the fireplace, and she found a guy to custom make me one.

I love having a hunting, gun toteing, truck drivin wife. :)

Hell, I've got one, that's never been fired (in a presentation case no less, with bullet mold and powder flask as well) that I've been trying to unload for years. I can't get rid of it, even for less than that.

Okay, i get at least one piece of mail per week from Cabelas, and I have not gotten this coupon book yet. It this only at a particular store or a couple stores and not over here near Iowa.

Someone with the book look and let me know.

I occasionally shop at Cabelas, but my wife gets mail from them(and got this coupon book).

We haven't figured it out yet. :p
