Looking for some information on this piece of history from the Netherlands I know it was originally a black powder cartridge single shot that was changed and the magazine was added to many of the original ones as this was has been ( any wisdom on ammo or reloading) . This gun is in supurb condition but missing the cleaning rod. If any one interested I may be willing to sell it ...

I also have one with an 1875 date on the magazine, which is when the modification took place. I ordered the 10.4 x 47R ammo from a guy in Minnesota. I bought 40 rounds at a very hefty price but I figure I now have brass for reloading and with the mild black powder load I expect it will last a long time! The round has the trajectory of a bowling ball but it is a lot of fun to shoot.
