What would a fair price be for a 1920 manufacture 1903 Colt in 95%+ condition? It'd come with an original cardboard box and a spare set of unused grips.

1920 should be a type 3 bushingless model. Grips are the hard rubber? MOP? wood? Do the case-hardened parts have strong colors? Fair value? I'd estimate around $600, could go either way $200 depending on condition of everything. Asking this type of question reminds me of the time a gentleman tried selling this model pistol as 95%+ and then posted lots of pics of an obviously re-blued gun. It wasn't even that good of a job, so you need to ask yourself just how familiar are you with this model, can you spot a re-blued piece?

To be honest,I'm not that familiar with them at all.It seems like the original bluing to me.It's a little thin in spots but it's in pretty good shape as far as wear and pitting etc go.
Wood grips, obviously, with a seemingly very little or not used at all pair along with it.

from that picture it sure does look good, seems to show thinning where it should and nothing that stands out as being wrong about it. The .25 pocket autos have case colored parts, I'm not sure but this model may not, find someone who knows or research it before throwing down a chunk of cash, In it's apparent condition, $600 I think would be a good price.
