Thanks Tuner and Old fuff for all the technical help .I retightened the slide, resleeved and swaged an old GI bushing for a tite slide fit and .001 barrel fit, recut the lower lugs and i get less than .002 drop in .100 of slide travel. When the slide/barrel is in full lock there is no slide vert. or horiz. movement and the barrel is tite in the bushing .When the slide is against the slide lock pin just short of lockup, if i push hard on the slide going into lock, it goes "snick", just love that sound !! To unlock with hammer down, i have to push against the edge of the bench to get unlock .It is indeed tite . Hope the scan of a 25 yd group off bags comes through, i don't see a problem reaching my goal of 2 in. @ 50 yds 
Load is 200 gr. hard cast with 4.1 gr. of old standby Bullseye. Measured ,i think .600 X 1 in. for 10 shots. I am more than happy with the results , thank you tuner and fuff....
