Nose-diving can be one of two issues.
It might be a magazine issue.
The 8 round magazine is dimensionally the same as the original 7 rd magazines
that some mfgs decided to try to stick an extra round in - hence they have occasional issues - especially the cheap ones.
The other issue could be the feed ramp on the gun itself.
This area needs to be highly polished in order for the ammo to smoothly slide into the chamber.
Take the slide off, reinsert a full magazine & push the rounds out.
If it catches on the front of the mag, you know a better quality mag will probably help.
