Did somebody say "1911 Pictures?" Yeah, I can do that.
I "only" have 2 so far, a pair of Colt Competition models.
Stainless .38 Super. You may recognize this as the pistol in my avatar. It's a Series 80 gun:
Blued .45 ACP. This one is a Series 70 gun. When I saw it in the case and realized Colt had switched from the very dull, almost painted matte finish to something that looks more like "blue", I had to have it. This one gets more range and carry time than the .38 Super, entirely due to the ease of finding .45 ACP ammo and brass.
Next up, I really want a Colt Lightweight Commander in .45 ACP. Or maybe 9mm. The decision won't be made until it's time to part with the cash.
There are a lot of really nice looking 1911s in this thread.
