That picture is my PT1911 I finished today. Blew it apart, polished the extractor, hammer, and barrel. Then painted the frame, back strap, dove tail safety, spring plug and barrel bushing black, the slide and controls are grey/black. Also milled down the slide lock pin and recessed it into the frame. I'm happy with my make over on my primary carry.
Your metalworking skills are incredible. But all these guns look too new. Do you have any pictures of your older work? Maybe a blued carry-comp with carved ivory grips? Safe queens are nice, but customs that are actually used are awesome.
Can we get details on this one please? Is it a Springfield Custom + Rogers Precision or a totally modified and shortened Mil-spec full-size? What kind of materials, finish, etc? Love the Mil-spec serrations. Stunning 1911, that's for sure!
