Here's my newest, an STI Lawman 5.0. I got this thing Friday, fitted the ambi, shot 50 rounds to function test, and then shot a USPSA match (Single Stack Major) on Sunday. Very accurate, and functioned flawlessly.
Also, I've posted this gun before, but I got some new grips on it. It's a Sistema Colt, Model of 1928, made in 1951, wearing Esmeralda's Ivorywood, with Celtic knotwork and Thor's hammer. Fitting for a .45.
And this one, just because. I got a better pic of it while I was shooting the others. Colt LW Commander, .38 Super.
I figure that if consistency is key then a SIG 4.25" 1911 with nightsights and a Light/Laser for home defense and a SIG Bobtail 4.25" 1911 for Concealed Carry is perfect.
I like the Ruger SR1911 too! Especially this commander size. And it shoots as good as it looks too! It's fit and finish are excellent to say the least. As soon as I get my target pic's downloaded I'll post them but I had no problem at 20yds with the gun anyway now my eyes are another story. This one will stay with me and be passed down as it's my 1st 1911 ever and I've wanted one for about 45yrs and finally got one. And it's a good one too! Later All
