1911 wont manually cock...

I recently picked up a springfield TRP. Great gun. I was getting light primer strikes on my reloads so I called Wilson and bought a firing pin spring and hammer spring. I changed them out, but I noticed now that its back together, the hammer wont manually cock. It only cocks when racking the slide. Did I not put something back correctly? Im pretty sure I should be able to manually fully cock the hammer with my thumb.

Yes, you should. Personally I'd take it apart and try again. If it still doesn't work, something is hinky.

Thanks Jim, I ended up puling the beaver-tail off and resetting everything. Good to go now.

Yep... easy to let the sear spring shift out of position on assembly.
