Following are some pictures of a 100% NIB 1950's Colt Trooper .22, shipped in May of 1959 from Colt's! The box and accessories were included(Also, in mint condition!)and, this was a real find, for me!:

Really cool. But if I had it, the urge to "try it out" would be almost unbearable. I love to shoot all my guns.

Wow that is almost too nice to shoot. The box being mint condition is a very big plus if you ask me. I would pick up one of the same vintage to shoot and hold on to that for awhile although a bunch of people will disagree with me.

Yes, this Trooper .22 is definately too mint to shoot! In fact it actually, has never been fired after it had left the colt's factory! The cyllinder had been kept unturned(There isn't even a "Trace" of an cylinder ring on it)! Maybe one day I'll find an used .22 Trooper to shoot(But, NOT this one!)?

That is a great find. Now good luck on finding a shooter to go with it. Those Trooper .22s are awfully hard to find.

WOW! That is amazing. The Trooper was always one of my favorites. I do not blame you for not wanting to shoot it. It is beautiful!!!

1)Thanks Majic! Your opinion holds a lot of weight with me!

2)I have never seen another(New or used)older Trooper .22! I'm sure that these must be out there somewhere?

I had to wait five months to obtain this Trooper .22! The man who had owned this gun, had a large court judgement against him(Due to some kind of a failed investment or business venture?)and he was grabbing at straws to rake up enough money to pay this Court judgement! But, he didn't want to have to give up this Trooper .22! I was on "Pins and needles" all of this time, wondering what the outcome was going to be regarding this gun? However, in the interim, there were some other people, who were coniving to try to steal this gun away from me, in the event that the owner would agree to FINALLY sell this Trooper .22!:what: But, I watched this gun like a chicken hawk watching a chicken for the kill! And, by golly, I was bound and determined not to lose this beautiful trooper .22(If I could help it)? This scenario, was driving me nuts!:banghead: But now, I'm happy, that I had won this long battle! :D
