If you have a '92 or '95 or '99 VihtaVuori reloading manual, then please send email or private message me max. N330 powder charge for 115 gr. JHP. Thanks.

If you don't get it from anybody else, PM me for the screen name of a guy on another forum that has it. He helped me get archive VV data for N310 last year.

I have the 95 manual. (at home) I can PM you with the 9MM load info later.

I have an 02, an 04, an 06, & an 08 PDF as well. AC

The maximum load for 9mm 115gr HP-XTP using N330 is currently 5.4grs.
In 1996 it was 5.5grs.

He's got old bullets and old brass. And an old gun. If'n he can find old data and old primers, he's good to go.

Naw, what he's got, if you read his other posts, is a box of "custom reloads" with 5.6 grains of powder and he is trying to convince himself that they won't blow up his gun.

5.5 Grs of N330 did not blow my gun up using 115 gr jacketed or plated bullets. As a matter of fact, it shot really well. Neither did 5.6 Grs, and although that is over the max in the manual, it shot real well and gave no signs of being over pressure. N330 works very well with 124/5 Gr bullets too.

5.6 Grs of N330 with a WSP and a Hornady 115 Encapsulated RN @ 1.130 to 1.135 O.A.L. @ 86 Degrees gave me 1143 FPS from an EMP, 1204 FPS from a TZ 75, 1390 FPS from a 16" Kel Tec Sub 200, & 1368 FPS from a 16" RRA AR. -- 5.5 Grs gave 1345 FPS from the RRA the same day.

I settled on 5.5 Grs, but saw no problems with 5.6.

Walkalong: re VIT 95 manual: I tried every thing on my super sonic, terabyte, wing-ding computer but no can do.

Do you have it in another format---even jpg---doc--anything else.

So that explains his strange request...

I do not have the manual in any format. The PDF was an older Vihtavuori PDF I downloaded.

Here is the 9MM stuff from the Zip File. I just typed it to a word doc and zipped it to download here. I double checked it, but you know how that goes. AC

??? I bit, and looked at his old posts. The last one before yesterday was August 2008 and didn't have anything to do with custom reloads. Did you find this on another forum or something?

5.6 gr of N330 with a 115 gr JHP (.355 cal), OAL 1.169 out of a 4 inch barrel is showing a pressure of 32556, which is very close to max. Accroding to Quicload.
Given a +/- 10% pressure variance.. it could be a hairy load.
