The gun is sweeeeet! Completely accurate and feels very good for me. I shot it well out to 50' with no problems.

I did have one bummer and I'm kind of baffled about it. My slide never ONCE stayed open after the last shot in each magazine. I had 5 magazines I was running through this gun and all were brand new. The only thing I can think of is that I missed some of the factory gun oil when I cleaned it before I went to the range or I didn't clean the 5 new mags well enough. I just cleaned the outside of them. I may take them apart today and give them a cleaning and try again next week. Never had this issue with my USPs.

Any thoughts?!

These are indeed great guns. My only thought is that you are unintentionally riding the slide release with your thumb. Next visit experiment to see if this is the case...it's been noted before by first time P2000 shooters.

My best and biggest surprise on the sk was the short and easy reset of the SA trigger. I like!

That could be it for sure. I didn't even think of that and had read that on here before as well.

I would highly recommend this gun. It's smoooooth and feels great. It's one of those that will never leave my collection and I'm glad I bought it.

If you are shooting "Thumbs up"

Your t6humb is probably preventing the slide release from jumping up into the notch. Pay special attention next time you shoot. bettcha dollars to doughnuts that's it.
