2-Gun Action Match with a Remington Model 8 (video)

For this month's 2-gun action match, I decided to use a Remington Model 8 in .300 Savage. Kicks like a mule, but fun to shoot! Overall I placed 34th of 50, which is not bad at all considering my horrendous reload speeds.

A Model 8 in 300 Savage?

Yes - factory rebarreled by Remington after the Model 81 was introduced in .300 Savage. That was an option Remington had available for Model 8 owners who wanted the hot new cartridge.
