This is the second of two rigs from a charity that I offered work for in a local auction. Proceeds went to the family of a local Iraq vet on hard times with large medical bills as mentioned in the other thread. This was offered as a 'wild' rig.

Originally slated as an arrowhead basket weave when he showed me the guns that went with it I changed it to a geo stamp I was just learning. Believe I couldn't do any better with the current stamps in my arsenal - think it's time to upgrade. The main belt body is 10oz lined with 4 oz, a lined billet, and 8 oz chape. The holster body's are all 8 oz lined with 4 oz with a slight forward cant and matching retention strap.

I've said this before but as of this point, this is my best work.

Simply put, your work is not of duty grade leatherwork, it is quite easily more accurately described as functional art. It is beautiful.

Hey WK, thank you for the kind words. I wear my stuff every day so it fills both roles well. I couldn't wear something this nice, though! This one is certainly something special.

Absolutely beautiful work- I hope they end up in an open carry state where people can admire them!

They stayed right here in MS where we have the right to OC. The new owner is a local ammo manufacturer.

WK described your work well.
I think it looks way better than the pink set up you did (no offense).
You do very nice work, it puts the little things I've done to shame.

No offense taken because I can't disagree! We all start somewhere. This is #1:

I guess we don't have a Like button on this sight and it's a good thing...I'd have to hit it about 50 times looking at that rig.

Thanks Bama - it would look better with your carving but this is the best of my abilities!

That looks pretty damn sharp, Eaglestroker.

I was impressed, and went to your site to browse, I have to say I'm a bit sad you're not taking new orders right now.

I'd love a completely ridiculous OC rig for my Mare's Leg, or some nice leather for my 1903 - make sure to post here when you're taking orders again!

Rayban's post says exactly what I was thinking! Been watching your work on several forums for quite some time. Have always regretted not buying some of your early stuff. Outstanding work!

WOW....Just WOW!!

If I had me that rig I would throw a big a$$ BBQ just so I could show it off.

Funny you should say that, because he did. The fella runs a local trader page and they had a meet & greet Saturday. Not only did he show the rig to anyone that would look - he called me Saturday night to tell me he couldn't believe how well it toted 20 lbs of gear around.

That looks pretty damn sharp, Eaglestroker.

Thanks Dave. The 1903 is a really neat gun - if you like exotics I know a fellow leather maker that specializes in them!

Heck of a first post :) Thanks for the kind words! My early stuff was no where near as good as what is leaving my hands now - no doubt about it.
