Even though the 2018 Minnesota hunting season for Whitetail has ended, this was photographed the other day, S.E of Ely down Highway 1 by the (or in) the Stony River, I believe. The Grey Timberwolves hunt all year long.......

Thought some may find this interesting.

Looks like that deer is between a rock and a hard place... seems like she is wondering how quick she can get back to the other side.

First duck hunt ever- learned this sport takes a lot of skill and prep time. Went with 2 experienced friends, knocked down 2 bluebills near Mary Ester Fl. I can see how this could be habit forming! Gun is my Mossberg 930.

Yep, and once you have a good retriever it becomes an addiction.

Here's a couple fat sows I shot on my place in NorCal a couple weeks ago. Hard to tell from all the mud but they're both black and white spotted, same with most of the rest of the roughly 40 that were in the herd. I came across them at dusk as the temperature was falling into the low 30's, the near one rolled down a hill and into a ravine that was too steep to get my quad into (almost rolled it) so I had to drag her 240lb butt over 100 yards. Skinned and gutted them in the dark and cold with wet and muddy boots, got yelled at by my wife for being out so late, then the butcher accidentally gave one away to another customer.

Was it fun? Absolutely!
