I found this list interesting. 9571CC1C-0C21-4BBC-A830-FEB958DCD757.jpeg Just curious; else pick any of these up? Thoughts on the list?

I did actually!
Though not brand new, a relatively recent 870 Express Magnum. Added the Carlson +2 mag. tube and Volquartsen extractor.
Strangely, for a 18" HD shotgun, it had a full choke tube installed- swapped it for an IC.

None of the others really appeals to me. Maybe a G19 someday.
Interesting that theres no ARs on the list......

The "most popular" are the small handguns that fit in average hands, fit in waistbands, purses and pockets, are easy to shoot and lightweight.

While I think it's great we have so many new firearm owners, and that there's such a nice selection of firearms that meet those needs, it's not what I carry or shoot. I'm a big guy with big hands and I like larger calibers. So I'm not surprised what I bought last year isn't well represented in the list of guns that sold well.

I'm surprised there were no AR's on the list. I did buy a Glock 19, a new Stainless 40X action with a 308 boltface that I used for a build and another complete Stainless 40X rifle in 223. I came close to checking the Remington 700 box because the 40X is just a dolled up 700!

Interesting that the Shield EZ, S&W 442, Hellcat, and LCP arent on the list considering the explosion in CCW permits last year.

Right.....I didnt see many on the shelves last year, although supposedly they are counting used guns too.
I would have thought the plastic handguns and other popular "black/plastic" guns would have completely swamped any centerfire bolt action nowadays, but I guess there are soooo many different models of the former category to split up the market, and therefore make way for a relatively popular individual gun from the bolt action group.

And as you mentioned, counting used gun is no doubt a factor, and now that I notice the list is from gunbroker helps explain some of it. A lot of us who might rarely set foot in a bricks and mortar store stocked with 95% black rifles and plastic pistols are buying things like Remington 700s on GB, especially used earlier models.

I'd bet that list would look pretty different if it were gun store sales instead of GB. I expect a lot of Glocks and other plastic pistols are bought overwhelmingly in LGS instead of on GB.

I have 1 and 1 close family relation: SIG P365X and a SIG M18. I also picked up a Glock G43X, a Glock G48, and a Ruger LCP MAX.

I'm kind of surprised that there isn't a Taurus or a S&W Shield on the list.

Also surprising considering how quick they disappear when one shows up for sale, no levers from Win, Marlin or Henry made that list.

Built another AR, bought a Ruger EC9s and a couple hi-points. Waiting for a governors pardon to divest of the hi-points. Seems very likely with the paperwork that went up from local sheriff, parole officer, and family members. hopefully this year.

I one at least one Glock 19, Ruger American (Rimfire), Rem 870 and 700 and 10/22, so that’s 50% of the list. But all predate 2022.

2022 was pretty much a CZ 75 family and Ruger/S&W revolver year for me, though I bid on a Browning BL-22 in Dec (Didn’t take possession until after the new year :).)

Stay safe.

No firearms purchased in 2022. Although I already own 4 of the ones on the list. Got 2 already in 2023; a 50 cal. CVA Accura muzzleloader in January and a CVA Scout V2 Takedown in 444 Marlin in February.

I can’t remember what I bought in 2022 but I do remember selling off 3 of those listed.

I have a feeling ARs aren’t on there because there are so many manufacturers of a virtually identical type of firearm that a specific make and model just don’t add up fast enough and that is the way the list is tabulated.

I already had a P365, so no need for another in 2022. I did buy a CZ P01 omega that I like quite a bit in 2022.

Nothing on the list. I did buy a Bula Armaments standard M-14; A nice K frame 6" S&W in 38 Spl. made in 53; a Colt Police Positive in 32-20 and finally, a mint 99% apparently never fired after leaving the factory Type 14 Nambu made in 1935. Inside of the gun is full of cosmoline or something like it. The pre war quality of these early Nambu's, quite honestly, makes your average Luger look ugly.
