Hi all, I finally found a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 *Lite* after a year+ search:
Ruger 2245 (1).jpg

I'm pretty versed at searching for accessories, I like to think I know where to search. I'm looking for a field/range holster while hunting "squirrels and sech" [<--- movie reference, extra points for naming it] .
Parameters: probably nylon, I prefer leather but it'll be a knock around and get beat up some and I'd rather ding up cordura/nylon. Right side belt probably, tanker/chest/cross draw better for the same reasons. I found a couple of universal fits on fleabay :( and a couple of somewhat interesting leathers on etsy, $35ish.

Also found: tandemkross leather$ [ https://www.tandemkross.com/scoped_sideslinger_leather_holster ] and same maker nylon [ https://www.tandemkross.com/side_switch_nylon_ambi_holster ]

So the question becomes:
Does anyone have, use, recommend any other hunting rigs that you wouldn't mind getting beat up in the bush? What do the owners use for field carry?

-jb, even a flap style??? o_O

Yay, thanks Hugger! I actually looked up Uncle Mike's but couldn't determine the size. Yours seems to be size 5. That's probably a winner.

-jb, 4.4" barrel better shorter than too long

I just got home and checked and I do have the size 5 Uncle Mike's and the 22/45 does fit tightly But I actually have my M57 in it. My 22/45 is in a size 3 Blackhawk, sorry for the mis-speak

I also have this rig for my G20 / RIA 10mm, but I just tested it and it would work fine for the 22/45.

These are pics of all three with my 22/45 in them. The size 5 Uncle Mike's is pretty tight. It would take some breaking in to be able to unholster as easily as the other two.

All good, Hugger. The tanker would have been worth a try, but I ultimately grabbed an appropriate sized Uncle Mike Sidekick at Sportsman's.

-jb, no money to burn, but $25 won't break me
