Hello all,

I am looking into this cartridge for coyotes mainly I am looking to use the 60 grain Vmax 62 grain ELD VT and the 75 grain ELD M

I’m thinking 1~8 on the twist I have not a lot of knowledge on this cartridge past the fact that it’s Saami specd know so what can y’all tell me?

Rifle is an Xbolt stalker it started life as a 6.5 Creedmoor it will be suppressed so I’m thinking 20 ish inch tube

Thank you for your info

It's the new incarnation of my old 22-250 AI I had 25 years ago. It would be a screamer at longer ranges with the 1-8 pitch barrel. We didn't have the fast twist barrels and loooong Bergers back then. IMO the 20" 1-8 barrel would be a good choice.:cool:

Everything old is new again.

Craziest I ever saw (late 80s) was a shortened 22-284 shooting 55 gr NBTs at 4300 fps. Smoked that pipe in a few hundred rounds!

But you‘re absolutely right - everything old is new again! Well said!

+1

I built a fast twist 22-250AI 24" tube 1-8twist for my buddy year before last. Hes running 75 a-max at 3400.
Ive considered doing my own, but the 22CM is close enough ill probably go that way and save the fireforming lol.
