Anybody have any old .22 lr military look-a-likes? Honestly, their just fun guns. I used to have a PPS-50 imported by Mitchell Arms which was manufactured by Pietta of Italy.

When I first got it, I really thought it wouldn't function well with the 50 round drum, but the gun was way more accurate than my buddies' 10/.22. Anybody have similar experiences? I never shot the Galils or other copies. Similar accuracy experiences? Mine was fairly reliable.

Still enjoying those military look-a-likes from the 80's? I'd love to see these "toys" come back...

I've got an Erma EM-1, and it is a wonderful little carbine.

Problem is, mags are usually a hundred bucks apiece.

Still, I can nail cans at a hundred fifty yards with the iron sights, no problems. Great little gun. And much cheaper than a real Carbine.

Part of the trigger spring mechanism died, but I fixed it with a spring from a dead keyboard, and it runs flawlessly again.

The PPS-50 is definitely on my want list. Just can't find one for less than six hundred bucks...

Ther Erma is a nice looking rifle. That is one I've never seen. Generally, I've run into FAMAS and AK look-a-likes, but have seen Galil's. Once had the opportunity to check out an SA-80 in .22 lr, but you had to cycle the bolt for every shot.

I've got a Norinco 22lr modeled to look like a mauser 98. I got it for my 18th birthday, it's got some heft to it for a 22!

a .22 famas look-a-like would be on my want list that'd be sweet.....time to start lookin
