22 mag semi auto rifle

When at the gun shop the other day they had a .22 mag semi auto, it had an open synthetic stock, with a heavy barrel which looked like it was fluted...it was about the length of an AR...and was quite heavy. I think it had a 10 round capacity. I cannot remember the manufacturer of this rifle but the shop owner said its been selling very well...its also available in .17 (I think also magnum but not sure). Does anyone know what this rifle is? I think they were asking $450 new. Had a very nice feel to it...owner said everyone thats bought one has had nothing but positive feedback. I'd like to know what it is but the shop is 1.5 hours away so I wont be up there again for a little while.

Sounds like the Accelerator Rifle from Excel Arms to me...

I would hold out for the Kel-Tec RMR-30 that should be coming out sometime next year or so. Its in .22WMR as well and will sport a 30 round magazine and collapsable stock

The Accelerator is it! Thanks...Will have to see how it performs alongside the Kel Tec, based on looks I still like the Accelerator better. Although it'd be nice to have the 30 round mag.
