An indoor .22 rimfire rifle (bullseye-style) meat shoot will be held on the 2nd Sunday of December (and each month until Spring) at the Millstadt Sportsmen's Club, a few miles south of Belleville, Illinois on Schmidt Lane. We've been having these periodically and everyone has a hoot.... so the club decided to do it on a regular basis.
$2 a shot, 16 shooters in a round -- 1 shot per target and the closest shooter to the bull wins the meat. Prizes / types of meat being shot for are T-bones, Ribeyes, Bacon and Beef Roasts... with an occasional round for cash. No scopes or optics. Open sights only, peeps okay. If you want to zero your rifle before the match (recommended), they shoot CCI CB Longs at about 35 feet. Fire any questions or need for directions here. Thanks! Hope to see you there!
