This coming Sunday, Dec 5th at 12 noon, the Millstadt Sportsmen's Club is hosting its monthly indoor .22 rifle meat shoot. We'll host this again each first Sunday of the month through March. $3 per shot, 16 shooters in a round, meat is t-bones, ribeyes, bacon/brat combo packs and pork steaks from Schneider's meat market in Waterloo. Ammo provided, please do not bring any ammo from outside. We shoot CCI Quiets at about 34 feet. A house gun (that's zero'd for the range and ammo) is available, along with a beanbag rest if you choose to use it. Judging is done with the aid of a digital microscope - everyone gets to see their shot on a screen.
C'mon out, bring your rifle, shooting friends and have a good time. Cecil is making his famous ham & beans (no charge). Open sights only, peep or buckhorn (no optics). If there are enough buckhorn shooters and there's any interest, we'll have a buckhorn-only round.
