This coming Sunday, Nov 7 at noon, the Millstadt Sportsmen's Club is hosting its monthly bullseye competition and will have a shoot the first Sunday of the month throughout the winter. This month it's only $2 per shot, 16 shooters in a round, winner splits the kitty 50/50 with the club. Please do not bring any ammo from outside - we furnish the ammo. We shoot CCI Quiets at about 34 feet. A house gun (that's zero'd for the range and ammo) is provided, along with a beanbag rest if you choose to use it.
Competitors will decide Sunday whether we're going to shoot for meat beginning in December or if we'll continue shooting for cash. If meat is decided, the shot will go up to $3 in December. It's up to the shooters. C'mon out, bring your rifle shooting friends and have a good time. Open sights only (no optics), peep or buckhorn. If there are enough buckhorn shooters, we'll have buckhorn-only rounds, if there's any interest. And there's always something good to eat - this month it's Cecil's famous hobo stew.
