I shoot a lot of 22 mag out of my 4in
High Standard Sentinel Deluxe MK IV.
9 rounds of 22 mag at my disposal. I'm getting 1575 fps over my chrono. 13 inches of penetration in the ole clear ballistic jello. Expansion is .32
If a shooting scenario did take place, if the 1st couple of rounds don't end the problem, 7 more surely will.
The gun is great for carry and concealability .
Nary any recoil. Fairly light, easy to conceal, reliable and has a 9 rd capacity. As for a ftf rate from this gun, 1 misfire in 500 is what it is.
I have 38s, 9 mm and other guns I carry as well but I'm thoroughly pleased with this little gun. Again, the first one or two may not be an instant stopper, but you shoot somebody a few more times it'll make them stop. Is it the be all end all gun. Absolutely not, not even in the top 5 of calibers. But without a doubt I would trust my life using it if needed.

I had that same gun. It was my Dad’s. It had a 2” barrel. I installed a 4” barrel on it. 9 rounds of .22 Magnum sure would put a dent in anyone’s day.
I gave the gun to my sister. She wanted a revolver for home protection.

I sometimes wish I had it back. In a way I kind of do. She gave it back to me so I could polish the chambers. After firing ejecting the cases is quite stiff.

That's just about exactly what I want for my FIL... who can't rack the slide on his 9mm any longer. I've opined that a 6-9 shot .22WMR would be a reasonable choice given his circumstances. Now just to find one that is of decent quality, that won't blow the budget. :( I'm not having much luck.
