can any of you guys tell me who if anyone makes a bolt action .223 with a heavy/varmit barrell with a 1-7 or 1-8 twist. all i can seem to find are 1-9 or slower. Thanks

Last I looked, the choice in a 1:8" or faster barrel was limited to Tikka. I have a stainless Varmint, and it's absolutely superb.

I was looking at the lrpv as well, I plan to shoot the 75 or 77 gr. black hills ammo for long range target work if I get one, do I need the 7 twist to do that? And if I get the 7 twist, how severely will it limit to shoot some lighter bullets? not super light but I'd like to use it for varmints as well. WOuld the 9 twist be a better choice?

No. 7 twist is for the extreme heavy .224.. such as the 80-90+ gr bullet mid to low 70's in weight is actually where the 1:8 kicks off.
