+1 on the Fullfield E1. I have that exact same scope on my Savage.
Savage offers 1-9 twist or 1-7 twist depending on which model/variant you go with. Most of the Axis and 110 rifles in 223 designed for hunting are 1-9 while the precision and target models are 1-7. I will recommend going with one of the heavier barrel profiles such as the varmint barrels when buying a savage rifle. Savage's Varmint barrels are very good.Savage can turn out a decent gun but I'm not sure if a 1:8 or faster twist is available.
It has to be inherently more accurate than any of my gas operated MSRs, otherwise whats the point? Im thinking it shouldnt be a hard ask.....Currently am about 1 MOA at 200 yds with my Colt HBAR,
