I have a Bushmaster M4A3. I'd like to get a .22LR upper for it, so that plinking is even less expensive. I'm looking for:
1.) A company that's been around a while. Major AR-15 manufacturers preferred, in this case.
2.) A rail on top (A3, or whatever). I might want nice optics later. Since I *did* ask for an ACOG for Christmas.
3.) Big magazines. Not like Bushmaster's "only 10 round" game - these two things just cost them a sale, because I would have just ordered theirs without doing much more looking if they just had what I wanted.
4.) Not a conversion kit. See top part: "wanted, ... upper receiver." I hear too much bad about conversions, or at least "iffy" things that I'll just pay a little more to be safe.
Soo... can someone give me some suggestions?
