I got a great buy on some pulled 230 Gold Dot HP's. They look almost like new. Does anyone have a favorite load for them?

Got some data for you to chew on, and consider. Barrel length for my W. German SIG P220 is 4.4". I think the OAL was 1.20", cases were WCC 82 Match. Bullets used were made in the early 90's, so not sure if the design/performance has changed over time.
Please double check, and use at your own discretion.
Speer 230 GD 8.8 grains AA#5 CCI 300
849, 830, 832, 843, 821, Avg 835 ES 28 SD 11 *very clean

I love this bullet in .45 ACP, and is what I use for SD. Accuracy is quite good, with fine expansion and penetration. Of course no "jacket' slip, and I have never had any reliability issues at all. Here is one, demonstrating its ad worthy expansion. Good luck.
