I got tired of constantly looking for ammo, brass, bullets, etc for my .25 WSSM & decided to go to the source 'Winchester' for some answers, so I e-mailed Winchester, twice.

Winchester's first reply informed me that they have discontinued the 110 grain Accubond CT, which is my favorite factory load. They suggested I switch to the 115 grain Ballistic Silver-Tip, I have used this ammo in the past, but I prefer the Accubonds.

Winchester's second reply informed me that all .25 WSSM is currently out of stock, like I hadn't figured that out for myself. Winchester says that the 115 grain Ballistic-Tip & unprimed brass for the .25 WSSM is" scheduled for production later in 2015”.

.25 WSSM shooters don't take the lack of ammo & brass personally, I can't find Winchester Brass for my son's 25-06, my hunting buddy can't buy Winchester Brass for his .257 Roberts.

All of us shoot .257 Nosler Accubond bullets and they aren't available. Nosler's has Accubond bullets in 2 of the 16 calibers they make Accubonds for. Nosler has 6 boxes of .30 Caliber 180 Grain Accubonds & 6 boxes of .35 Caliber 200 Grain Accubonds in stock.

My 2 cents worth is that if you shoot any of the WSSM calibers, find enough brass to last your lifetime now. They never really caught on, and the brass is only made by Winchester. I doubt there will be enough demand for another mfg to produce it in the future once Winchester stops production permanently, and it can't be easily made from another parent case.

I found a box of Win. Supreme 25wssm 115gr ballistic tips in my gun room collecting dust. They're kinda cute in their own little chubby way. Someday they might be worth some $$$.

Back in the day I almost picked one of these up in a Browning A bolt composite varmint stalker. That was a neat little rifle to hold.
Kinda sad to hear about the demise.
