Short form: USA took Gold and Silver in the Original division of the 50m "Malson" percussion revolver match, Gold in the Original division of the "Remington" revolver aggregate. Silver in the Original division of the "Tanzutsu" matchlock pistol match. Bronze in the 100m ladies "Walkyrie" percussion rifle match, Gold in the Original division of the "Lorenzoni" percussion shotgun match, and Silver in the "Batesville" percussion shotgun team event.

By the way, the U.S. Team is looking for talented shooters willing to go to distant, exotic places; meet exciting, unusual people; and try to beat them in the course of international competition.

Could you tell us anything about the firearms, and for me the pistols ? A friend years ago use to do the gunsmithing for the revolvers. His name was Jack Lewis. He also built at that time the only target pistols for Friendship. I had three of his and bought a Witlowe [ SP ? ] . I always called it a W.Tole. I remember when they went to the International target for a match in the revolver agg - it was harder because of the smaller rings. It sounds like we did rather good. How did we do overall ? I tried understanding the results without success.

Dunc Dawkins won the Original division of the "Lorenzoni" percussion shotgun match. Mike McDaniel won the Original division of the "Malson" 50m revolver match, and the Original division of the "Remington" revolver aggregate.

Also, Bob Peloquin took 2nd place in the Original division of the "Tanzutsu" matchlock pistol match, Betty Peolquin took 3rd place in the Original division of the "Walkyrie" ladies rifle match, and the team of Dunc Dawkins, Mark Sellaro, and Sam Sellaro took 2nd place in the "Batesville" team percussion shotgun match.
