I'm planning now for rolling my own 7.63/7.65 Mannlicher ammo for a Model 1905 due in soon. Most of the needful things are on order (stripper clips brass and dies). But I'm not seeing 85gr jacketed or plated .308"D bullets out there except for some monolithic copper self defense bullets.

Original factory load seems to have been an 85gr FMJ in 308. But Sierra 85gr JSPs seem to be unobtainable now. Any thoughts on why 110 gr plated bullets might not work? Or maybe I should order plated 72gr 312s and run them through a Lee sizer?

I'm thinking of using W231 or Unique, but no info yet on load. For now, until I get more info, I'm going to look for a midrange 32 Long load with similar weight bullet

Don't know how your Mannlicher will do with hollow points, though.

I have had problems feeding hollow points through older milsurps in the past, so I know what you mean. The LeHighs are monolithic solids in that weight group, and they should feed well. But they are about three times the cost of the Hornady XTPs. So at this point at least, I'm looking for cheaper alternatives.

These will work.

Nice! I had completely overlooked Prvi as I thought their 71gr bullets were .312". They aren't currently listed in AmmoSeek, but I will certainly keep an eye out for them.

Whoops! That "JHP" didn't register at first.

Yes, it would! Got that sitting in the basket until I get home. I will also be keeping my eye out for the Prvis. Just an aside, but their 62 gr .224 FMJs, with the Prvi hard gilding, were perfect for barrel break-in in my .224 Valkyrie.

Edited to add: Done. Items ordered from Lee. (Needed 2 parts for the two Lee sizing dies I already have; 355 & 357).
