So what is everyone using for supersonic Blackout rounds?

I just ordered an upper and while I wait for it to be built, I'll need to get components.

16" barrel with no silencer so no need to worry about subsonic until I feel the need to scratch that itch. :D

I'm thinking 110-168 grain bullets probably settling on the plentiful and cheap 147 grain for general plinking but I'll get something better for more precise shooting.

H110 is probably at the top of my list since I've read about it being used very successfully but Lil' Gun looks promising.

I'm looking for other opinions here.

AA #9 or 2400 work well for 147 Gr plinkers. It won't give top velocity, but will do just fine and has a nice short recoil impulse. Enforcer will work. As noted, H-110/W-296 is very popular. Any of the magnum handgun powders should work. 1680 works.

Mine shoots the 110 Gr V-Max very well. I haven't tried the Sierra 125 Gr, but it should be very accurate if the gun is up to it.

I like LiLgun and Accurate 1680 loading 125 to 150 grain bullets. The Speer 125 TNT HP comes in bulk packs. Hornady 125sst shoots good in mine.

There are so many possibilities. My choice would depend on what powder I have on hand.
IMR4227, AA-1680, H110/W296, Lil' Gun. Any of these work well with 110-150 gr. projectiles.

Two 16" carbine 300 BLK rifles. I like 147 grains for plinking and not too expensive. I shoot Hornady 110 V-Max and get good accuracy. I use H110 for bullets up to 147 gr. M80 bullets both pulled and new and for Hornady's bulk 150 FMJ's. I have no issues with H110 and have seen no pressure problems working up. My 147 gr. loads use 16.5 grains for about 1950-1975 fps. At 16.7 grains the 147's barely top 2000 fps. Hornady 110 V-Max's at 19.5 grains gets 2370 fps. Nosler 125 BT's shoot well in my rifle with H110 and they are getting 2155 fps. I load only LC brass with RP 7 1/2 primers. You should read up on overall lengths for these bullets in 300 BLK. I seat Hornady 110 V-Max at 2.040" and 147 gr at 2.130"-2.140". Noslers 125 BT seated at 2.060". For AR magazines!! Some shooters like Lil-Gun for heavier 30 cal bullets 147-168 gr. bullets. I like H110 and I use AA1680 for heavy subsonic. I highly recommend LC once fired brass to convert to 300 BLK. Main issue is neck diameter of loaded rounds. Keep the neck diameter measuring a loaded round at .334" or less. Some cases have too thick case walls and the neck diameter will be oversized. I highly recommend a case headspace gauge such as Hornady's set to measure case shoulders if you're forming brass and to find out the fired dimension of your cases. I think 300 BLK is fun to reload and more fun to shoot. Check manual data and work up.
