Last night I had a dream that I had an AR based rifle chambered in 300 whisper. The gun in my dream had a 16 inch barrel (total length) with integral suppressor and 3 round auto burst capability. I woke up this morning thinking that it would be a really nice little setup.

I don't know if anything like this exists on the market but, if it did, could it be legal through tax stamps or whatever? I was thinking that the 3 round burst would be some nice icing on the cake, but the 300 whisper with integral suppressor sounded really nice to me. Thoughts?

Depends on your state laws.

I know there is a 16" integrally suppressed AR upper for 300 blackout(basically 300 whisper) that can be had if you live in a suppressor friendly state. Google ARMTAC Reaver and you'll see it.

As for full auto/3 round burst, you'd have to find a pre 86 registered M16 receiver, which would be $10-15k again, if your state allows it.

If you're going for integral supressor and 3 round burst, you may as well go with a short barrel as well.

the Inegral supressor would be easy, find someone to build it, pay the 200 tax stamp, and you're golden.

The three round burst is more tricky. You cannot register a new machine gun, including a "burst" trigger. You therefore would have to find a pre '86 reciever, and like has been said, that will cost you somewhere in the range of 5 figures. But if you have the money, and are able to find one for sale, you can very well have of what you dream.
