anyone use Tac with 150gr btsp and LC brass, I know I need to reduce for the
LC Brass, The brass is new unfired, so my question is since I do not have a chrono I curious if anyone has used this combo ?
I went to the range today with some loads to try and found that 42.0 and 42.3
grains of TAC did well for me at 100 and 300 yards brass ejected fine and looked fine , would these be considered mid or upper load range using LC 7.62 brass ? Shooting a Savage 11 Hog Hunter
Thanks

I'm not sure what brass they used, and Military .308 is a normally bit heavier than commercial, but it looks like your fine.

Hopefully some folks more experienced in using LC for .308 will chime in.

I use TAC in my 5.56/.223. If they did well for you at 100 and 300 yards, why push them faster for potentially no benefit. Either way if you aren't getting pressure signs then you could always go up .3-.5 grains at a time to find the max for your rifle.
