.32 Rifle for Turkey?

I have always wanted a .32 caliber bp rifle for plinking/squirrel hunting/etc. Just seems like it would be a fun rifle to walk around the woods with. I also had the thought that it might be fun to Turkey hunt with a small bore bp rifle. Has anyone used a .32 caliber rifle for turkey hunting? I am curious what kind of results you had? There aren't many .32 caliber rifles being produced today. I believe Traditions makes a rifle in .32 or .36 caliber for around $250-$300. Would .32 caliber be adequate or would .36 be more humane (I would limit myself to shots under 40 yards). I would rather have a .32 to double as a squirrel rifle. Let me know your thoughts.

Game Laws?

Can you hunt turkeys with a rifle in your state? It's illegal in mine and all our neighboring states that have a turkey season. If so, I'd say a .32 would be fine plus lots of fun. They're sure great on squirrels and rabbits!

I have thought of making a .32 caliber flintlock. I think it would be fun. Be advised though that the reason I'm holding off is that I have heard from people who have shot them that they foul VERY fast. I think I'll still make one someday.
