Smoked squirrel?

Looking for a new shooting venture. Thinking 'bout a .32 or .36 caplock rifle to target shoot and maybe squirrel hunt with. The Traditions Crockett rifle has caught my eye. Any thoughts or advice before I dive in?

Go for it. Many folks prefer the .36 over the .32 for targets, but both will work for what you are looking to accomplish.

Both will harvest squirrels and small game.

TC offered a sweet 32 called the Cherokee in kit form and finished. I built the kit and still cherish it. Squirrel shot with a muzzleloader taste so much better.

have you ever eaten squirrel? if not,in my opinion,its not as good as rabbit.plus i think rabbits are fun to hunt.but if you like squirrel,your choice of 32-36 cal is great. have fun!
