Looking for recommendations as I start reloading 32 wadcutters for bullseye shooting. There is no shortage of recipes out there so I'm looking specifically for brass and bullet suggestions. My inclination is to use Starline brass and the MBC coated 98gr target wadcutter but I'd like to see what others are using.

Starline brass is good and consistent. However, a tad thick.
I like some Magtech brass I have. It’s a bit thinner. This may be a factor when loading the deep seating wadcutters.

BTW, what are you going to be shooting them through?
My .32’s are a S&W .32 Hand ejector, and a Ruger Single 7 in .327 Fed. (not to mention the Keltec in .32acp).

I'm shooting a Benelli MP95 and use it specifically for bullseye shooting.

One of the lead hollow base wadcutters will shoot better than the MBC 98 Gr coated WC. So will the discontinued Berrys 83 Gr HBWC. If you just don't want to shoot plain lead, the MBC bullet may be the only choice right now. At least it shoots pretty well.

Almost all of my brass is from buying loaded ammo for the purpose of getting the brass. I actually prefer prvi brass. It’s good brass but it’s not ridiculously thick. Most of mine split after about a dozen shots.

As Walkalong mentioned, wadcutters in 32 caliber are a bit scarce. I am using some old stock magtech wadcutters (full wadcutters) that I bought right after I got my very first .32. Even then they were scarce (2010 timeframe) and I bought everything the store had when I found them. I got a good deal since the shop owner said they sat there for several years gathering dust.

I dont mind shooting or reloading lead and also would use a HBWC. I ran a box of Fiocchi wadcutters through the Benelli to make sure it functioned and they keyholed. At 25yds it made what appeared to be a 2" ragged, keyholed mess. I'm guessing they are to small or to slow. Since posting this I've ordered a sample pack of the MBC bullet and found 100 pieces of reasonably priced Lapua brass (which is suppose to be the "be all, end all" brass.)
Starline has a note on their site that says not all 32 wadcutters will work in their brass. I'll also try and find a sampling of that.

Ahh! Nice pistol the MP95 - I used to shoot a similar .32 Pardini for slowfire precision. My load was 1.6gn Bullseye with a 98gn swaged bullet (.313) in a Fiocchi case with a taper crimp. Now I'm shooting something that will be totally alien to you but still using a .32 wadcutter. I'm now casting with this mold :RCBS 2-Cavity Bullet Mold 32-098-WC 32 Caliber (314 Diameter) 98 Grain Wadcutter

My current .32 is a 5 shot muzzle loader:

Pretty sure I won't be casting boolits anytime soon.
The 5 shot muzzle loader is pretty interesting though.

The 5 shot muzzle loader is a uniquely British affair. Before we had our pistols stolen by the government I was a keen UIT pistol shooter (one hand, iron sights). The centrefire course was 30 slow fire at 25 yards followed by 30 duelling on the turning targets (7 seconds away 3 seconds face) all shot in strings of 5 shots.

After our handgun ban we were still able to own muzzle loaders - so to enable us to still compete in the international UIT event the Patriot pistol was developed. The "magazine" is loaded with 5 rounds (primer, powder, bullet with the small press provided) and works as a "harmonica" pistol, the "magazine" traveling crossways. It is manually racked for each shot but with 7 seconds while the target is facing away there plenty of time.

It shoots just like good quality .32 target pistol - it was only made for a few years so is quite a rare beast even over here.

I've been shooting the Missouri 98 grain LWC with 2 grains of 231. Can't say it does very well out of any of my three .32's. I may take that up another tenth or two to see if it helps.

There are commercial WC loads available. I've shot both Fiocchi and S&B-- both are available from Grafs if nobody near you has any.

Do you know the velocity?

I have a guy who casts in decent sized production runs interested in casting for me. I need to tell him what die I want him to buy as he doesn’t currently cast for .32 but said he knows others who are interested. Does anybody want to provide me a good multi cavity mold recommendation to suggest to him?

See post #6 for a link to MP Molds and his 32 caliber hollow base wadcutter

NOE Bullets has a 32 caliber hollow base wadcutter.

http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/index.php?cPath=31_273

Both are good molds and can be configured for hollow base or solid base bullets.

Unfortunately, the large number of cavity molds from both are out of stock at the present.

Both companies make other 32 caliber bullet molds.

Although MP Molds is in Europe, he ships to the United States and accepts US currency.

I prefer MP Molds hollow cavity system better than NOE's system but both work.

I have the 98 grain 32 caliber RCBS solid base wadcutter mold but am not sure if they make more than a 2 cavity mold. They shoot well in my 32 caliber revolvers.

That harmonica pistol is really nice!
If you happen to visit the States and drag it along, consider me first in line if you decide to move it.
I have long hoped for Uberti to produce a version of the harmonica rifle used by Yul Brynner in 'Adios Sabata'.

Thanks for sharing the photo.

32 cal HBWCs are indeed scarce. If anybody is looking for them check with Dillon. Yep, Dillon of all places. I bought some Speer HBWCs from them a few weeks ago. From my searching it seems Speer is the only game in town after Hornady discontinued their 32 cal HBWC.

Also found them at dardasbullets.com

I'm making up a ladder or 2 with the MBC wadcutters using Bullseye, 231 and possibly Titegroup.
The MBC's are .313
The Speer's, which I also ordered, are hollowbase and are .314. When they get here I'll run the same ladders.
We'll see how these go and then I'll try the Dardas.

I have 100 Lapua cases on the way. In the meantime I'm using the GFL cases that Fiocchi uses.

Also, I shot another 50 of the Fiocchi only this time through heavy paper and no keyholing.

I don't know how Fiocchi's .32 SW Long brass is but they have issues getting the flash hole in the center of the case on some other caliber brass.
Might want to give them a quick eyeball to see.
No issues with shooting them, just decapping them.
I mangled a decap pin on GFL brass. (my fault for mangling it but the the flash hole was clear at the edge of the pocket, Lee sent me a new one for free even though I told them I mangled it)

Light weight paper tends to rip and tear large, ragged holes when hit by bullets. Gives the appearance of keyholing.

As you found out, heavier paper allows the bullet to cut cleaner holes. There is a reason most commercial targets are made on paper heavier than copier paper.
