I think I want one some one said to check out a Rossie, I know I cant go wrong with a Older Marlin.
I would appreciate any info on the Rossie I have never even seen one, I have 2 Marlins one in 30-30 and one in 35 Remington their excellent rifles.
I had a Rossi lever action in .357. It was a bit roughly finished, and the wood wasn't the prettiest. But when I took it to the range, it put the first shot in the bullseye at 50 yards. That more than made up for the minor finish issues.
I bought a new Marlin 1894C in the Spring on 2019 and its a great gun so far. I had previously had a used 1894 that I bought in the 90's, and the new model is better than the older one
