I remember years ago that I came across a two barrel set rifle (ala Rossi matched pair) that had one bbl chambered in .357 maximum. I've yet to ever see another. Anyone know of any rifles made in this chambering?

I never saw any. In fact I had my Savage 24V .357 mag chamber deepened to take .357 Max about 15 years ago. I shot some factory 180grain ammo across chrono and got 1900+fps out of the 24" barrell! Seems it is about equal of .35Rem FACTORY ammo. Well it should be working at 50,000lbs instead of .35remington 38000lbs per sq in. I don't shoot the 24V much anymore because their 7lb+ weight got too much for back packing. It is a very useful gun though shooing .38wadcutters thru full maximum loads like 125jhp at 2500fps!!!!!:what:
