What do you all think of this calibre rifle?
I would be using it for hunting and target shooting. The Kentucky rifle with a browned barrel seems like what I want.
The stock looks as if it may be hard to shoot through. Is it?
I have a deer hunter with a plastic stock in .50 cal, but it has a plastic stock and .36 just has a cool factor for me.
What do yall think?

The .36 rifle is a great caliber and a lot of fun to shoot. But my .36 rifle barrels are not over 28 inches and I prefer them that way.
Small bore barrels are a little heavier, and I feel that the small powder charges required drop down into the breech easier with a shorter barrel. Whether accuracy or velocity is lessened enough by a shorter barrel to make much of a performance difference, I'm not sure.
But I found that 777 fffg shoots very clean and is well suited for shooting many shots in the .36 rifle without really needing to swab.
I also like having rifles with a hooked breech for easier cleaning and maintanence. But if you prefer the Kentucky length barrel & design, then go for it. ;)

I love to use my TC Seneca for squirrel hunting. Great for rabbits too but not enough around to make hunting them worth my while. Just about the perfect squirrel rifle.

Its a small light ball ..as far as hunting squirrel and rabbit like said ..
target shooter limited range 40 yards or less ,,, on steel targets you won`t hear the ding . I have a 40 cal KY rifle which isn`t much bigger , have light days when I enjoy it .
