I don't think I have ever seen any .38 Special I wouldn't reload. Maybe nickel because it dosn't seem to last as long as brass cases but otherwise, no, it's all good.

Some of it has oversize rims and won't fit speed-loaders, or some shell holders.
I'm not sure if it will fit S&W recessed cylinders or not.
Any and all brass from AMERC.
I wouldn't shoot it myself in your gun!

Other than Amerc, watch out for some of the AP headstamped .38 brass, as it's Berdan primed. Those are the only two in that caliber that I don't reload.

rcmodel is right, I've had to chunk a bunch of CBC 38 brass because they wouldn't fit in my shell holder. The majority of them fit fine however.
