Hi,
this S&W revolver was owned by my father, and I think I am not sure when it was made or even a model number. its stainless with a wooden grip.

I saw a similar post here and thought perhaps you could help me. The serial number seemed to be the key in the other post. however, i am not sure which one is it: at the bottom of the grip there is a number :"BNA 7119" and there is "MOD 640", and "1-014" when you open the cylinder.

Other markings include 38 S. & W. SPECIAL. on the barrel.

It has the S&W trademark, and also on the right side under "Made in USA", it also has "Marcas Registradas" in spanish.

Also, any idea where i can get the owner's manual for this revolver?

Thanks for your help

You have a Smith & Wesson model 640 (Centennial/Stainless) revolver that apparently was made in 1993.

Go to www.smith-wesson.com and you can download a copy of the owner's manual in .PDF format.
