well, like i said before, some day i will have to do some tests of my own. so far, nobody has mentioned magtech h.p. + p ammo. that is waht was available where i purchased my kel-tec. it has quite a large hole in the end of it, so i would find it hard to believe it wouldn't expand. i also bought 500 of these bullets to reload with. they shoot great, so if notheing else, they will make good practice ammo. but i really don't know if they work as they should. so, for now, i am loading every other one hp/fmj.
i am also loading up to test some 115 gr hornady xtp's to shoot out of it. i did shoot some today, just to see if they would shoot. they did, but i had MANY ftfeed issues. i thought i might, as the ones i had loaded just didnt look right. but ever one of them fired properly. that is all i really can tell you about them at this point. once i get some good rounds of these loaded, i willget some newspaper or phone books and go to the woods and test. i also just bought a chronny, so i can get real test results now, not just guess. but i have to buy a tripod for it whenever i get out of this place. i will be testing the magtec bullets @ normal, and +p velocities, fmj's and hornady 115 xtp's. but right now i am so far behind on things, i dont know if i'll ever catch up! i must admit though, i am IMPRESSED with the remington g.s.! i guess ideally, you would want the expansion of the g.s., and the penetration of a fmj. ALL I WANT, IS EVERYTHING!!!

All I've ever heard about MagTech is that they're junk.:barf: You load 115 grains into a .380???? Interesting. Wouldn't you get a really slow moving round though? THe .380 is already slow enough.

One thing I know for certain about MagTech .380 is that it feeds 100 percent reliably in my LCP.

i ust the hornady 90 gr xtp hp and have had good results with accuracy and expansion in wet newspaper .
I don't really worry myself with .380 ballistic tests. If you're carrying a .380, you're already well aware that you have armed yourself with a smallish caliber
true the 380 is small but then thats probably the reason your carrying it , its not to big to carry at that moment . but then again any gun is always better than no gun.

runs great

mag tech was one of my best 380 rounds in any of my 380. Loved the ammo, but like allthings it started tog et to high for just paper punching, so I looked elsewhere. A shame, I really liked it to..
