I think what they are doing is great. IMHO the fact that they are doing it and putting on the internet for free is a real act of patriotism. Plus, it helps to insure that the plans stay available because there is literally no way to completely remove such information from the internet. As long as ONE person, ANYWHERE in the world, has the program, it can be relaunched, again and again despite being taken down by anyone opposed to it.

My concern is that the government will start passing all kinds of laws in regards to the internet content and to lesser extent 3-D printing. Which IMHO is even more of a problem. People need to keep the internet as free and unrestricted as possible. It can allow for certain bad things to happen BUT no laws are going to reduce those things anyway. Cyber-criminals are like regular criminals because they don't care about the laws anyway.
