.40 ammo in P2000SK

I have looked all over the search feature and I am having trouble finding threads on a good defense load for smaller .40s, like the HK P2000SK

I was out at the Angeles range yesterday testing out defense ammo in the various firearms I own. One of my guns is a Sig P239 .40 S&W.

It fed the Winchester Ranger LE, 165 gr JHP T-Series, the Speer Gold Dots, The Corbon DPX, The Double Tap just fine. I really liked the Double Tap and the Speer Gold Dots.

I believe any of these would serve you well in the defense of your life.

With a barrel length of 3.27 inches on the HK. The Corbon 135gr would be a very good choice. To assure penetration though, the BEST choices would be the Speer Gold Dot at 155gr The Federal Hydra-Shok at 155gr, the Remington Golden Saber at 165gr and the Corbon at 165gr.
