.40 Glock bulge on a .380?

I have been shooting a Glock 42 and I haven't gotten that bulge in my brass.

I've seen 9MM and 40 S&W with the guppy (Glock) bulge, but not 380 yet.

I have yet to notice it on any 9mm. Just 380 (recently) and 40.

Could the variations people see be qualitative differences in the brass? What about factory QC issues?

Everyone gose on about the glock bulge being so bad I have a friend with 40 xd/ds whatever that has bulge worst than my g27 has ever had.

could they have been fired in an 9mm gun by mistake ??

Yep. My wife managed to stuff a .380 into her Kahr CM9, and after firing it looked just like that photo.
